VISAS - GREEN CARD - NATURALIZATION

  • B1 VISA is a temporary nonimmigrant visa that allows a business professional to enter and work in the United States for a maximum duration of twelve (12) months. An additional six(6)months can be obtained. You will not be able to be compensated by an American employer and will stay an employee of your country of origin. This type of visa is best suited for professionals that are consulting with their American-based clients.

  • H1B VISA for specialty occupation is a temporary nonimmigrant work permit that will allow you to work for an American employer for a period of three (3)years and can be renewed for six (6) years maximum from your intial legal entry.
    In order to qualify for this visa:
    you must have a Batchelor's Degree or its equivalent,or have substancial academic and professional experince in your field of expertise.
    you must have an American Employer-sponsor that will offer you a position that requires your expertise in that field.
    You will be required to show proof that your intent is to enter the United States temporarly and you will return to your country of origin before the expiration of your B1 Visa.

  • E2 VISA or investor visa. This type of visa is becoming more popular now because of the new restrictions and the hike is cost of the H1B Visa. This type of visa requires a substancial investment for the creation of a company in the United States. The main investor must have a paramount position in the company. This no time limit as far as the duration of this visa as long as the company continues to operate in the United States. Many requirements are required for this type of visa and will be explained to you at your initial consultation.

  • L1 VISA also known as Intracompany Tansferee Visa is best suited for person with specialized knowledge. This visa allows you to enter and work for an U.S. affiliate or branch of the company that you are currently working for.
    An example would be an executive of a multinational that is transferred to the U.S. branch.

  • F VISA or student visa is for foreign nationals that have been accepted in a univertsity in the United States

  • K VISA or Fiancee visa is granted to a foriegn national who is planning to marry a U.S. citizen ninety (90) days from his or her date of entry.

  • Green Card or permanent resident status will allow a foreign national to permanently reside and legally work in the United States.
